Officers were called to Magnolia Avenue at around 6.45pm Weds 14th March 2018 following a report that a man had been stabbed.
The victim had confronted a group of youths who he saw slashing the tyres of his car. He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he remains in a stable condition with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Three teenage boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Deb Hubbard said: “This happened in a residential area at a time when people were returning home from work.
“We are urging members of the public who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time to contact police.”
