Yesterday (Monday 4 March) detectives charged a man with murder and possession of a bladed article.

A woman who died after an incident in Burbage has been named as 55-year-old Christine Bauld.

Police were called to a property in The Coppice at 11.20 am on Sunday (3 March) by East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Specialist officers are supporting Mrs Bauld’s family.
