Atkins Gallery hosts Earl Shilton Camera Club exhibition 2018

A two week exhibition starts on Monday 20 August and will showcase all of the club member’s photographic pieces with themes ranging from, wildlife and portraits to natural and urban landscapes.

The club are also hosting an evening event at the Atkins Gallery on Wednesday 29 August from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, which all are welcome to attend and learn about this friendly and proactive local club. Club members will also be hosting free workshops on the following topics: basic use of DSLR cameras, advanced use of DSLR cameras, printing demonstration and processing and editing software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. So if you have ever wondered what the other buttons on your camera do why not bring it along and get some advice.

Earl Shilton Camera Club meet regularly at the Earl Shilton Constitutional Club, 75 Station Road, Earl Shilton and their next meeting after the exhibition is Wednesday 5 September from 7:30pm to welcome existing and new members and discuss the 2018/19 programme of events.  

Executive Member for Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Cllr Maureen Cook said “We are delighted to once again welcome Earl Shilton Camera Club to the gallery and I hope their exhibition will be well attended and residents of the borough, looking to start a new hobby or develop their photographic skills, take the opportunity to meet club members and view the many photographs on display.”  

The Atkins Gallery is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4:30pm and please check Atkins Building's social media for opening hours on Saturday 1 September.
