Bosworth Pharmacy in Market Bosworth has been forced to close as a vehicle has hit the scaffolding around the building.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Market Bosworth said: "This morning a crew from Market Bosworth have been in attendance on Main Street, following a hit and run Road traffic collision. A large goods vehicle collided with the scaffolding and made off from the scene after the driver had checked their vehicle which may have also sustained damage."
The collision has caused damage to the scaffolding surrounding the building on Main Street.
The Bosworth Pharmacy, said: "Unfortunately there is no access to the shop at present. The staff appreciate your patience and understanding while we wait for the issue to be resolved. We will be up and running safely as quick as possible."
