The incident happened in Popworld in Church Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police are appealing for information after concerns a woman had a noxious substance administered to her in a Nuneaton nightclub.
The incident happened in Popworld in Church Street in the early hours of Sunday 31 October and was reported to police at 1.20am.
The 20-year-old woman was taken to hospital and later released.
Detective Inspector Nigel Collins said: “This is an extremely concerning incident and we will carry out a thorough investigation to establish exactly what happened. Blood samples have been taken from the victim and this will help us piece together exactly what happened last night.
“We’re keen to speak to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in Popworld last night, anyone with video or photos from the venue or anyone else who believes they may have had something administered to them.”
