The charges relate to an incident in Barlestone Road in April.
Henry Gaskin, 53, and Carol Gaskin, 51, both of Lands End Road, Doncaster, pleaded not guilty to the charge of attempted murder.
Carol Gaskin also pleaded not guilty to a charge of assisting an offender.
The charges relate to an incident on Thursday (29 April) when a man was found critically injured in Barlestone Road.
A trial has been set for 29th November, which will run for 10 days.
Both Henry and Carol have been released on condition bail, if they can provided £100,000 each in surety.
