Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a collision in Shepshed this morning (Wednesday 31 July).

It happened between the junction of Anson Road and Buttercup Lane.
The rider – an 18-year-old man – was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
PC Suki Sahota, from the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) said: “Our enquiries to establish the circumstances of the collision are continuing and I’d urge anyone who can help to contact police.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in the area early this morning and who has a dashcam in their vehicle or who saw the collision occur. I’d also ask anyone who saw the motorcycle beforehand to come forward.”
