Enquiries into the circumstances of this incident are ongoing, and the police would like to speak to anyone who can provide information.
There is an appeal for footage after a collision in Hinckley just after 2 pm on Friday (13 June).
Police were called to Ashby Road, close to the junction with Elizabeth Road, in the afternoon.
The vehicles involved were a grey Jaguar F-Pace and a red and white Honda CBR motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, was taken to the hospital, where he is continuing to receive treatment.
No arrests were made.
PC Ellise Timmins, from the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances of this incident are continuing and I’d like to speak to anyone who can help.
“I’m particularly keen to speak to any motorists with a dashcam or who saw the collision occur. Anything you can tell us could help our investigation.”
