They were called to the scene of a traffic accident in Coleorton on Tuesday morning (23rd February).
New Road, Coleorton was closed for over an hour as rescue crews tried to retrieve the stranded passenger. Three other people in the car had already managed to escape, but the roof had to be fully removed to save the fourth. Another car was damaged in the incident.
Once out they were driven to hospital. No one else was hurt.
