Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service are fighting flames on Bradgate Hill in Groby.
They have confirmed on Twitter that is it a grass fire and five fire engines are trying to put out the flames.
Fosse 107 has contacted Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and will update when there is more information.
