The Fosse 107 and Hinckley District Past and Present Soap Box won a trophy... but not for going the fastest!
Driven by Mark Foster from our weekday mid-morning show and Stephan Cole who presents weekday evenings, the Soap Box powered by Fosse 107 won "best amateur build" at the tenth annual event organised by Hinckley Bid.

The event took place on Sunday 7th July and saw Hinckley's main shopping street transformed into a reverse hill climb motorsport event.
The run included a jump and a chicane.
Steve Wegerif from Hinckley BID said: "All of the soap boxes are innovative and incredible machines which are built for speed."
More than 40 teams were confirmed to be taking part before the event.
Mark Foster and Stephan Cole were assisted by John Oakes and Marc Heath in the Fosse 107 team and also Paul and Sue Gardner (pictured) from Hinckley & District Past and Present.
Congratulations to all the competitors on the day!
