M&N Jewellery has taken first place in Hinckley BID’s Best-Dressed Halloween Window Competition, with more businesses than ever taking part this year.
Hinckley’s town centre has been looking particularly spooky this Halloween, with businesses transforming their shop windows with imaginative decorations and seasonal displays.
Hinckley BID has announced the winners of this year’s Best-Dressed Halloween Window Competition, which celebrates the creativity and enthusiasm of local traders.
Taking first place is M&N Jewellery, based in the Britannia Shopping Centre. Yiayia’s Bakes, on Castle Street, came second, while Keysound – Piano & Keyboard Specialists, on Regent Street, secured third place.
M&N Jewellery impressed with an eye-catching display packed with details for passers-by to discover. The business previously traded on Hinckley Market for 25 years before opening its town-centre shop earlier this year.
Yiayia’s Bakes, which has brought a taste of Greece to Castle Street, was recognised for its colourful and creative Halloween window.
Third-placed Keysound came up with a particularly clever idea, featuring a skeleton seated at a piano in its shop window.
This year's competition attracted more participating businesses than ever before, helping to create a fantastic Halloween atmosphere throughout Hinckley.
Hinckley BID has thanked all the businesses that took part, saying their efforts have helped give shoppers, residents and visitors even more reasons to explore the town centre and support local traders.
