There are branches in Hinckley, Loughborough and Nuneaton.
It has been announced that the Highstreet store Wilko has gone into administration.
The company filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators last week.
The CEO Mark Jackson, said: "We left no stone unturned when it came to preserving this incredible business but must concede that with regret, we’ve no choice but to take the difficult decision to enter into administration."
The business has stores in Hinckley, Loughborough, Nuneaton and Coalville.
When the company filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council Leader, Cllr Stuart Bray said: “I am very sad to hear the news that Wilko, an East Midlands based firm which has been a much-loved feature of our town for decades is in difficulty.
“I hope they can find a way to continue trading but should the worst happen we at the borough council stand ready with colleagues at DWP and other agencies to support anyone who may find themselves out of work."
