The free event, with entertainment suitable for all ages, has been organised by the Choose How You Move team, a joint partnership between Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council.
There will be support on the day from partners such as Ride Leicester, Sustrans, Dr Bike, British Cycling Go-Ride, Leicester Women's Velo, Leicester Forest Rockets junior cycling club and B-buddies, who showcase cycling skills for youngsters.
Other activities on the day include a pedal-powered smoothie bike, BMX and skate park fun, a paint-spinning bike and balance bikes. Qualified coaches will also be on hand to lead rides around the track and help develop cycling skills.
Bike Fest is a great opportunity, through Choose How You Move, to promote cycling and walking across the county. We hope it brings lots of people together to celebrate cycling and it's great to have so many partners on board.
