Leicestershire Fire and Rescue have released some information the incident
The call was first made at 10:41 after a passer-by spotted smoke coming from a building in Lanesborough Court.
Fire Engines from Loughborough, Birstall and Castle Donington attended.
The blaze was caused accidentally 'by a phone charger' and led to severe fire and smoke damage.
It started in a bedroom on the first floor of the building.
Everyone has been accounted for and Gas and electricity supplies have been isolated.
