28-year-old Liam O'Brien, of Waterside Close, has been charged with 8 offences relating to incidents between 8th and 13th July.
He has been charged with:
- One count of robbery – relating to an incident on 8 July
- One count of affray, one count of aggravated burglary – dwelling and one count of possession of a knife blade/sharp-pointed article of a public place – relating to incidents on 9 July
- One count of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault – relating to incidents on 11 July
- One count of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence – relating to an incident on 13 July
O’Brien is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 15 July).
- A 38-year-old woman from Loughborough, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. She has since been released on bail.
