Love Loughborough BID working alongside Charnwood Borough Council have launched a campaign to encourage visitors back into the town centre.
They've invited a new Loughborough start-up film production company, to work alongside them to create short snippets of Loughborough businesses trading and working safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The videos will be launched via a social media campaign over the next few weeks to assure shoppers and users of the town that safety measures are in place in stores and businesses.
Love Loughborough BID have been supporting businesses in the town throughout the pandemic and say they understand customer confidence needs to be rebuilt to attract visitors back into Loughborough.
Lisa Brown, BID Manager said: “We have inevitably seen a decrease in town centre footfall since the lockdown has been lifted, so it is important to us as a Business Improvement District to ensure that we do everything we can to promote the safety measures that our businesses have in place to reassure our visitors that it is safe to shop, eat, play and do business in Loughborough”.
The campaign is part of a wider campaign to aid the recovery of, not only Loughborough town centre, but Charnwood businesses and districts as well.
