Sam Margrave, 42 of Leyland Road, Nuneaton, has been charged (postal requisition) with one count of assault by beating.
Warwickshire Police said: "It is alleged that he assaulted a woman at Bedworth Civic Hall on 20 December.
"He is due to appear before magistrates in Coventry on February 16, 2026."
