Ambulance crews was called to reports of a motorcyclist who had come off his bike in Atherstone at 6.23pm yesterday.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance with a doctor and paramedic on board were sent to the scene.
When police arrived the rider was already in a critical condition.
Despite their efforts to resuscitate the 37-year-old man, he died at the scene.
The man’s next of kin have been informed.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived to find a motorcyclist, a man, in a critical condition being given CPR by bystanders at the scene.
“Ambulance staff quickly took over resuscitation efforts but sadly, despite the best efforts of everyone, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased on scene a short time later.”
Police are appealing for who anyone saw the incident or has dash-cam or other video footage to come forward.
