A 64-year-old man has died after a crash involving a lorry and the central reservation of the M1.
Nottinghamshire Police were called to the M1 southbound between junctions 24 and 25 near Castle Donington at around 11:40am on Tuesday 2nd June to reports that a man had suffered serious injuries.
Emergency workers attempted to treat the man at the scene but he sadly died.
Police Sergeant Mark Baker, of Nottinghamshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are now appealing for any witnesses or any dashcam footage of the incident to establish the circumstances around this collision.
“Anyone who with any information or footage should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 258 of 2 June 2020.”
