Man who committed crimes in Nuneaton and Bedworth jailed for 15 years

Warwickshire Police have described him as a 'prolific criminal'.

A 34-year-old has been jailed for 15 years after pleading guilty to 10 offences including burglary, robbery and theft.

The offences were committed in Nuneaton, Bedworth and Exhall in January and February.

Neale Mulhall, 34, recently of Hallway Drive, Shilton was jailed on 21 April 2022 at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty to three counts of theft, two counts of handling stolen goods, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, burglary, robbery, attempted burglary, and fraud.

Detective Constable Chris Batchelder from Rugby CID said: “Mulhall is a prolific offender who has caused extensive misery in communities around Nuneaton, Bedworth and Rugby. I have no doubt local people will be delighted to see him behind bars for such a long time.”

On 12 January 2022 Mulhall broke into a parked pickup truck parked in Coventry Road, Nuneaton and stole tools worth thousands of pounds. The damage to the truck totalled more than £2000.

He also admitted to stealing a bank card after breaking into a car in Walkers Way, Bedworth on 10 February. He later used the card at a service station in Exhall.
