Three people are now being questioned after a man died in Loughborough.
Police in Loughborough have arrested two more people after a man died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 23-year-old man and a 19-year old woman are being questioned by officers after the incident in Moira Street.
A 22-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of murder remains in police custody where he is being questioned by detectives.
The victim, 38-year-old Mark Swinhoe from Long Eaton was being treated by paramedics for a stab wound when he died at the scene.
A woman sustained minor injuries to her face.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A car park in Moira Street was cordoned off following the incident to allow for a full forensic examination to take place and officers remain in the area to reassure the local community.
Detective Chief Inspector Martin Smalley, from East Midlands Special Operations Unit Major Crime Team, said: “Our enquiries are very much ongoing as we continue to investigate the incident to fully establish the circumstances.
“We urge anyone witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it or who has any information and has not already made contact with us to get in touch. Your information could help us with our enquiries.”
