Neighbouring properties were evacuated by Leicestershire Police as a precaution.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue have been dealing with a fire this morning (29/04) in Laxford Close, Hinckley.
Following a call at 9:44 this morning, three crews were sent to the fire.
It started in a garden shed and spread to the roof of the house. The crews in attendance are using breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "All persons are accounted for, however neighbouring properties are being evacuated by Leicestershire Police as a precaution."
The fire has now been extinguished, and fire crews are returning to the property this evening to check the situation.
