Police are appealing for information after a large amount of cash was stolen from a cash machine inside a supermarket.
Warwickshire Police is appealing for information following a burglary at a shop in Nuneaton in the early hours of Saturday morning (21st October).
Police believe suspects broke in to the Co-Op store on Chesterton Drive at around 4:10am and forced their way into a cash machine stealing a large amount of cash before fleeing in a dark 3 door saloon vehicle.
Adrian Clark of Warwickshire Police, said: "A thorough investigation is underway and officers are conducting extensive enquiries in order to locate the offenders.
"We would like to hear from anyone who has information about this incident, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time, is urged to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 72 of 21 October 2017.
