The charge is in connection with an incident on Meldrum Road, Nuneaton on the evening of 29 May.
Jamie Townsend, aged 32 of Bennetts Road North, Keresley End, was charged last night (Monday 7 June) with section 18 wounding and two counts of attempted s18 wounding.
A man in his 20s remains in hospital after the incident.
He will appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday 8 June).
