People asked to stay away from large fire at Croft Hill

A large fire at Croft Hill has affected thousands of square metres of grassland.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service is telling people to stay away from the Croft Hill area after a large fire broke out last night.

Multiple fire crews were tackling the blaze through the night. 

A cause has yet to be established.

The Fire Service were called to reports of fire at Croft Hill at 20:16 on 03/07/25.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are still requesting people to stay away from Croft Hill, and Police will be in attendance directing traffic away from the area."
