Change Makers is inviting everyone to join them at Bailey Park, Bedworth on Wednesday 16th August for a fun-filled few hours.
The event will see different clubs and organisations attend to offer a mixture of activities for locals to get involved with. From the Climbing Tower, Sumo Suits, sporting activities to crafts and health checks. The Ukulele Band are playing from 12-1pm for a sing along and to raise money for Mary Ann Evans Hospice. There will be a designated picnic area with blankets for the community to come together and enjoy. Although a picnic is not provided, Tesco Bedworth will be giving away bags of goodies for free!
At 1:45pm the Change Makers ‘Fruit Forage’ competition opens. Families are invited to walk along the nature trail to find the giant fruits for the chance to win prizes donated by Old Collicroft Residents Association.
Event leader Joanne Reade explains “I am excited for this event. It can be tricky finding free activities over the summer, especially for families, so I am hoping to break up their day with some fun activities and kindle some community spirit with a community picnic!”
