25th and 26th August will see the Leicestershire County Show return to Market Harborough for the annual celebration of rural and family life.

Over the August bank holiday weekend, families will be entertained by attractions including a special centenary RAF Falcons parachute display and quad bike stunts by Australian Guinness World Record holder, Matt “Kangaroo Kid” Coulter.

Held beside the Airfield Business Park in Market Harborough, the Leicestershire County Show is returning as a two day event on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August. The event is dog-friendly and organisers have ensured the ground is fully accessible to those with mobility issues.

“We can’t wait to get this fun-filled weekend started,” says David Young, Leicestershire County Show Director. “This promises to be a great way for families in Leicestershire to spend their bank holiday weekend. There are so many fantastic main arena events this year and we’ve made sure that there’s something for everyone.

“We’re honoured to have the RAF Falcons parachute display team attend in this the RAF’s centenary year. The team is in high demand and they’ll put on a spectacular display for our crowds at noon on both days.”

The Leicestershire County Show’s main arena will combine traditional agricultural events with adrenaline-fuelled excitement. The event will host jousting from Knights of Nottingham, a Mounted Games tournament involving fast-paced relays and obstacle runs on ponies, space to test kicking skills with the Leicester Tigers, a classic car and tractor rally and much more.

The full schedule for the two days is available to view on the Leicestershire County Show website here.

As well as entertainment, there will be a traditional fun fair with dodgems and a Ferris wheel and hundreds of trade exhibits and craft stands giving shoppers the opportunity to buy unique items.

Organisers are making a final call for those attending to book online to save money. Tickets can be purchased online prior to the event at www.leicestershirecountyshow.co.uk for a price of £8 or can be purchased on the day for £10. Children under 14, dogs and car parking at the show ground is free.
