Kiedis Toms says he will shave his head to raise money for the NHS in Leicestershire.
The St Botolph's Primary School pupil has been inspired by 99-year-old veteran Captain Tom Moore who is walking laps of his garden to raise vital funds during the coronavirus pandemic.
On a post on facebook Kiedis' mother said that he had decided to shave his head to raise money for the NHS.
She said: "He would really like to tell his kids that in this crazy time he helped to make a difference."
Initially the family set a target of £150.00 which has now been reached, but the goal is now to raise £1,000.
The family has set up a justgiving page where people are asked to send donations.
