Residents in Charnwood are being urged to give a public thanks to those who are helping others.
It's part of Charnwood Community Action, a campaign by the borough council and John Storer Charnwood and others to support communities.
It could be for fetching shopping, prescriptions, checking on neighbours with phone calls or for getting involved in one of the many community groups which have been formed to help their fellow neighbours and other people.
The Borough Council is calling on people to nominate their Charnwood Community Action Stars. They'll add them to their roll of honour on their website.
They have said there has been a great response from organisations and volunteers’ helping to support Charnwood Community Action and it’s hoped their efforts will also be recognised.
