Work is about to start to repair two steel columns at Pingles Leisure Centre in Nuneaton.
Contractors have started installing the internal mating protection of the leisure water pool tank and at the area where steel work will take place.

After this, equipment will then be returned to the health and fitness suite so it can reopen as soon as possible.
An ultrasound test will be undertaken to confirm the exact work required on the steel columns and a time scale will then be agreed to complete all the steel works.
While the pool is closed, painting of all the steel works will be undertaken in this area, following remedial works.
