Officers arrested the two men in the car.
Shortly after 2 pm yesterday (Sunday 9 October) a car which was believed to have been stolen was seen by police in Hinckley.
At first, the car failed to stop for police, but after an authorised pursuit, it stopped on Rugby Road.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "Two men aged 40 and 38 from Coventry were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle."
Both men have since been released on bail.
