Police have released three people questioned over an attack at a Burbage convenience store.
Three people who were arrested in connection with robberies in Hinckley and Burbage at the weekend have been released under investigation.
Officers were called at 6.01pm on Sunday 23 July following reports that two masked men with crowbars had tried to get into Mark Jarvis, a bookmakers, on Rugby Road in Hinckley but failed to get in and left in a silver car. One of the men was wearing a distinctive red mask.
At 10.19pm on the same day two masked men, one of them wearing a distinctive red mask, went into the Spar on Lutterworth Road armed with machetes and demanded money. They left with a quantity of cash and escaped in a silver vehicle. No one was hurt in the incident.
On Wednesday (26 July) a 25-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have all since been released under investigation.
