Police had to close the road for over an hour.
Officers were called to assist East Midlands Ambulance service after a man needed medical attention at the Post Office on the High Street.
The helicopter landed near-by and the man was airlifted to hospital.
Traffic update at 13:20. Further to the above, the road is now clear again and flowing. Many thanks for your patience in this matter.
