Leicestershire Police has said that the car left the scene.
A pedestrian has serious injuries after a collision in Stoke Road yesterday evening (Wednesday 17 April).
The incident was reported to the police at around 7:25 pm when a pedestrian was in a collision with a grey Ford Mondeo.

The pedestrian has been taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Detective Inspector Steve Kilsby, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or the circumstances which lead up to it.
“If you have any information – including dash cam footage - which can help our investigation, please get in touch.”
