The Fair 800 exhibition will be on until Thursday November 18.
An brand new exhibition showcasing original artwork and sketches by fairground artists has opened at Loughborough Town Hall.
The historic fair, organised by Charnwood Borough Council, is celebrating 800 years since it was first granted a Royal Charter, along with Loughborough Markets.
The Fair 800 exhibition opened at the Sock Gallery on Thursday October 14 and will be on until Thursday November 18.
The exhibition includes Showman’s histories, original artwork and sketches by renowned fairground artists and miniature fair rides.
Councillor Jenny Bokor, the Council’s lead member for Loughborough said: “We are immensely proud of Loughborough Fair and to think it has been part of the town’s history for eight centuries is incredible."
