A Bedworth man has been jailed for 18 weeks after officers caught him driving while disqualified three times in two weeks.
Simon Milburn, 33, of Park Road, pleaded guilty to three counts of driving while disqualified, three counts of driving without insurance and one count of drink driving.
Warwickshire police says he was stopped by officers from the North Warwickshire Vehicle Crime Team on 21st July, 30th July and 4th August. On the first two times he was interviewed and reported to the courts.
When he was stopped on the night of 4th August in Countess Road, Bedworth he was arrested after being found to be over the drink drive limit.
The court also disqualified him from driving for the next four years.
PC Ryan Walker from the North Warwickshire Vehicle Crime team said: “It’s clear Mr Milburn has problems understanding court orders, maybe he can spend the next few months getting to grips with them.
“People are disqualified from driving for a reason and on the vehicle crime team we are committed to enforcing the law, preventing vehicle crime and bringing offenders to justice.”
