Squirrels is a new Scouts group for 4-6-year-olds.
Barwell Scout Club has launched a new group called Squirrels.
The group is for 4-6-year-olds and is now the youngest section of Scouts.
Barwell Scout Club is the first group in the area to run the sessions which focus on friendship and earning iconic Scouting badges.
Liam Curtin, The Group Scout Leader, said: "It is important for us because there's a need in the area. So we started gathering interest and then we found that there wasn't much on offer for 4-6 years olds locally."

The Squirrels age group has been launched by Scouts to "help young people gain skills for life at a time when it matters most and where it's most needed."
