North West Leicestershire Police suspect the power tools were stolen.
There is an appeal to find the owner of some power tools that were found by police in Coalville.
Officers came across the tools after they stopped a car for a routine check along Broom Leys Road.
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods – two men, aged 41 and 48, and one woman, aged 24.
The 48-year-old man has also been arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs.
In the car were two Mikita drills and a charging unit, and all have the initials SJHP on them.
If the tools are yours, or you know who they belong to and can provide proof of ownership the police say they can be returned.
