'If you know who he is or can help locate the stolen bike, please contact us.'
Police officers have released an image of a man who they think has information about one of their investigations.
They are asking for the public’s help to identify a man after a bike was stolen in Burbage.
The bike, which was left outside of a shop in Tilton Road, was taken shortly before 6pm on Sunday 27 March.
When the owner – a teenage boy – returned, it was gone.
PC Jon Marvell, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim left his bike outside of the shop briefly while he went in with some friends. When he returned his bike and helmet had both been stolen.
“We’ve carried out a number of enquiries and are now looking to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV – he may have some information which is useful to our investigation.
“If you know who he is or can help locate the stolen bike, please contact us.”
