CCTV images of two women have been released by Leicestershire Police after an elderly woman's purse went missing in Loughborough.
The police would like to speak to the people pictured after the victim's bank card was used fraudulently.
While shopping in Loughborough town centre on the afternoon of Friday 24th of March, the elderly woman’s purse went missing.
The purse contained cash and a bank card. The bank card was used hours later fraudulently in a number of shops in Loughborough.
PCSO Brian Geeson said: “As part of our enquiries, we would like to speak to these two women pictured.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who knows these women – or the women themselves – to get in touch.
“Alternatively, if anyone has any information regarding the circumstances in which the purse went missing, we would also like to speak to you.”
