A Bulkington community centre is now back up and running thanks from the help of the community.
The Bulkington Village Community & Conference Centre on School Road has been without gas after a major leak.
The recent works has cost them around £15,000.
A number of groups use the space including Woodlands Day Nursery and Jack and Jill's pre-school.
The community pulled together and have helped raise in excess of £6,000 so far.
