13 patients being cared for at Leicester's hospitals and who had tested positive for Covid-19 have died in the last week.
A spokesperson from the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust said: "Sadly, we can confirm that 385 patients being cared for at our hospitals, and who had tested positive for COVID-19, have died.
"13 of those deaths have been announced since last Wednesday (10 June). The ages of the patients range between those in their 40s to those in their 90s.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the patients at this very difficult and distressing time.
“The Trust has moved to announcing deaths weekly and today’s announcement is the first since last Wednesday (10 June). Nationally, figures continue to be reported daily.”
