Two people were allegedly found hiding with a bag of stolen items from a vehicle.
In the early hours of this morning (12th August) CCTV cameras alerted police on patrol to a car alarm going off at a dealership on Derby Road.
Officers allegedly found two people hiding, with a bag of stolen parts from a car which had its window smashed.
A a 40-year-old man and 21 year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, with man also arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft.


A Leicestershire Police spokesperson told Fosse 107,
"At 3.15am today (Thursday 12 August) officers on patrol noticed a car being broken into at a dealership in Derby Road, Loughborough.
"Following a search of the area, a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped for theft.
"A 21-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle. A bag containing vehicle parts was also recovered.
"They both remain in custody and enquiries into the incident are continuing."
