The small fire on the ground floor has been extinguished.
Three fire engines have been sent to a property on Leicester Road after reports of smoke coming from a building.
Two appliances from Loughborough and one appliance from Shepshed found light smoke logging in the Shepshed property.
At 15:13 the crew used two breathing apparatus kits along with one hose reel jet to put out the flames.
The emergency services then confirmed at 15:40 that the small fire on the ground floor has been extinguished.
