Firefighters were called to reports of a van on fire inside a garage in Rothley at the weekend.
Four appliances from Loughborough, Birstall and Leicester's Western station were sent to the incident in Lazarus Court, Woodgate, Rothley, shortly after 1.30pm Sunday (13th December) afternoon.
The Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said the initial call received was of reports a van had caught fire and two crews were sent but two more were also sent to the incident after it was reported the fire had spread to the building.
The building was a single-storey garage about 10 metres by 20 metres and it's believed to have also contained paints and thinners.
No casualties were reported.
The Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Upon arrival the incident was confirmed as a commercial unit used as a garage that was involved in fire.
"A van was inside the building, as well as paints and thinners.
"The unit is a single-storey building measuring 10 metres by 20 metres.
"No casualties were reported.
"The fire service used two breathing apparatus, one covering jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"A fire investigation is ongoing."
