Police are appealing for witnesses.
Detectives have made an appeal for witnesses after a teenager was reportedly left with a puncture wound to her leg and a cut to her head in Nuneaton.
It's believed to have happened Tuesday night on Tile Lane in the Camphill area at around 10.30pm.
Police say a 15-year-old girl, was discovered with a puncture wound to the leg and a cut to her head.
She was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in police custody.
Detective Inspector Ollie Deakin from the Serious and Complex Crime Team in Nuneaton said: “This was a nasty incident that has left a 15-year-old girl requiring hospital treatment.
“We recognise this incident will be alarming but want to reassure the public that we are treating this as an isolated incident with no wider threat to the community.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help with our enquiries to please get in touch.”
