Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
Officers are investigating two burglaries in Castle Donington which are believed to have occurred between Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October.
They happened in Queensway and The Green whilst the occupants of both addresses were away.
Items taken from the address in Queensway included a gold wedding ring, a two-tone white and yellow eternity ring and a signet ring.
The items taken from the address in The Green included a gold necklace and bracelet, a pearl necklace and a Seko watch.
Detective Constable Natasha Perkins, the investigating officer, said: “I believe that these two incidents are linked and would like to speak to anyone who has information about either one."
“Please cast your mind back. Did you see or hear anyone acting in a manner that seemed unusual or suspicious between 16 and 17 October? Did you notice anything untoward? Any information you have could help.”
