Residents and businesses are being invited to have their say on a masterplan that will guide the development of land South of Station Road in Market Bosworth.
Birmingham-based planning consultants Define were appointed earlier in the year to create an overall masterplan and development strategy for the site.
The consultants were tasked with creating a development in keeping with the distinctiveness of the town, with affordable housing well integrated into the scheme, business units for existing and new companies and appropriate community facilities.
Following an informal consultation on the draft masterplan that took place over the summer, a formal public consultation has now begun. The consultation will run until 5pm on 22 December 2020.
Matt Bowers, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council Director (Environment & Planning) said “We continue to work in partnership with Market Bosworth Parish Council and St Mary’s Church to bring forward this proposed major development in Market Bosworth. The masterplan will be used to secure a developer to ensure this key development site in the borough secures a high quality scheme.”
