Fire and Rescue received several calls reporting the garden fire.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue were called to a property on Westray Drive, Hinckley at 19:40 last night (26th January).
Fire engines from Hinckley were sent to the scene and found a shed and conifer trees on fire.
It took two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
Fire and Rescue believe that the cause of the fire was accidental due to hot ash from composting.
A garden shed and 10 conifer trees were destroyed in the fire as well as scorching to a fence.
